This state-of-the-art factory was designed by leading architects and food safety consultants to ensure the premises complies and meets world standards of FSSC 22000. We are audited on an ongoing basis. We are Halaal accredited.
Product quality is guaranteed through extensive and stringent control of the various processes throughout the production cycle.
SERAC has developed a system for assembling ration packs which runs consistently, producing 50 000 packs per day if required. This system of packing ensures high accuracy and speed, at low cost.
SERAC has 1000 available pallet places on average for storage of ration pack stock at its factory in Johannesburg.
A system of motorized conveyors is used to allow for regular production. Sufficient stations allow the packers to pack the trays as they move past them. these then are fed straight into the taping or shrink-wrapping machines.
Once these packs are sealed with tape or shrink wrapped, they are stored until all the packs are completed, which are then boxed and shipped according to specifications.
